Hello there…
My name is David Oglesby and I’m a multimedia content designer.
Aside from designing content, I also enjoy cooking, tag rugby, swimming, cycling, mountain hikes with my doggo and learning new skills.
I think it’s important to propagate new skills that can transfer to professional and personal life.
Annually, I set myself a goal to learn a new skill that I’ve never attempted before. This year I’ve thought myself how to play the ukulele – not only is this a fun way to create mindfulness, I find it to be a great alternative way to relax/detox from my busy digital working day.
When it comes to my work, I truly strive to keep myself well-rounded and on top of the latest trends, technical skills and programs.
So what is multimedia design?
“Multimedia design is the art of integrating multiple forms of media. It is used in film, print, video games, information motion graphics, eLearning, website design and many other interactive applications.”
Having a creative mindset geared towards problem-solving is a key skill that I have developed throughout my career – engaging in new methodology and approaches from the various sectors I have worked in has made me a more agile, adaptable and creative content designer.
